Our Staff

Glenn and his wife, Tina, are the proud parents of two daughters, Caroline and Paige. Glenn serves as President and General Manager of Wood Funeral Service. Glenn is active in many community organizations, including, Project Playground. He also serves on the board of directors the Chase City Medical Center. The Wood family are active members of Mecklenburg Baptist Church in Boydton.

Glenn is a native of Chase City. In 1983, he graduated Bluestone Senior High School, and in 1987 he became a Graduate of Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta, GA. Glenn also attended the National Foundation of Funeral Service Management in Chicago, IL and completed course work with The Virginia Institute of Funeral Professionals as a Virginia Certified Funeral Professional. Glenn is active in the Independent Funeral Homes of Virginia, the Virginia Funeral Directors Association, where he is a former board member, and the National Funeral Directors Association.
