Shelby, Diane and Mary may you gain strength from each other as you 'Celebrate the life' of your husband and Father. The memories shared with each other that make one another laugh/smile are the best as Rudy is smiling down too! (HUGS)

Shelby and family, my condolences. I don't know that we ever met. I do know that Rudy was a great source of support to me when our house burned to the ground in 1953. We lived on a farm 9 miles outside of Chase City. I was age 10 and my whole world turned up side down. We lived with Aunt May for some time on her farm, also outside of Chase City, and if I recall correctly Rudy lived there also. The details have become lost in time as have so many things but the huge pain in my heart and the tears that won't stop as I write this tells me he was so very good to me. Tommy.

Daddy, I love you and miss you, there's not a day that goes by that I wish I could hear your voice and see you smile. I know you are in a better place where there is no more pain and suffering, but that doesn't stop my heart from breaking. You will always be a part of me. Love, Mary Ann.
