The town of Chase City City has today has lost a great Husband, Father, grand Father, Great Grand Father, Business Owner, Firefighter, Leader and Friend. From the first day that I arrived in Chase City, Wayne was ready to lend and hand a smile. His wise counsel was always priceless. I know that even when life was a struggle his motto was "better than I deserve". The scripture from 2 Timothy 4:7 where Paul says "i have fought the fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith" rings so perfectly clear today. To Carolyn, C.W. and the rset of the family you are in our thoughts and prayers. To Wayne thank you so much for all that you have done in this race called life. You will be truly missed.

So sorry to lose another classmate and friend. Sincere condolences to Carolyn CW and family. We will miss his warm welcome at A&A. The Class of BHS 58 sends codolences to the Family. He wanted to make it to the 2016 reunion but didn't think he would.

Carolyn, C.W. and Family: People don't come any better than Wayne. His heart was bigger than his tow truck! So many times he came to our aid, especially our teenagers who broke down or needed car repair. This world needs more like him. Our prayers are with you. God's got a good man with him now.
