Sue was one of our weekend golf buddies who was very willing to get up at 4:40 a.m. and get us a tee time for the following week. We had a lot of laughs. May she rest in peace. To Randy and Zella, my heart goes out to you. May you find comfort in your years of memories. She was way too young.

Dear Zelda and Randy: A song goes out of my heart and into the universe for Susan (Lynn, as I knew her!). I have so many fond memories of riding in her MGB, going to the pool, hanging out at the beach and many other escapades.

To Sue's family, I am truly sorry for your loss. I served on many committees at the college with Sue. She had an ability to understand issues well and speak her mind with regard to those issues. I always commended her for her being so forthright. She was smart and respected by her students. One international student told me once that Sue Montez actually taught her how to comprehend what she was reading. She will be missed here at NCC and I wish her and her family peace during these difficult times.

Susan brought uncommon dedication and concern to the classroom. She served her students well. Her example reminds all of us of what a special privilege it is to guide our students. We miss her. I offer my prayers for her soul and her family friends who hold her memory and example dear.
