to jeff and shelly. I know pop will be missed. he was bonzs side kick. we know he was sick for a while. god wanted him home with him. keep strong and let god lead you through this. just think him and Darlene is in heaven dancing around togather. you all have lots of good memories that no one can take away. love to you guys.

I just found this obituary and I am so heartbroken. I am Mickeys oldest daughter Debbie. I was raised in North Carolina and didn't even know this until I was twenty six years old. We met in my home and instantly bonded. I was adopted by my mom's husband who raised me. After being in each other's lives for a year or so we just stopped communicating but I have tried at different times to reach out to no avail. I once again was trying to reach out and came upon this. I am truly sorry to his wife and all children and family. I love you and hope to see you again one day Daddy. May you rest in eternal peace.
