Your mom was very sweet to take me and my sister under her wing during numerous swims in the Atlanta ocean. I remember freezing corn and trips to the"farm". She certainly made my summers in Surfside more memorable. I sorry for your loss.

I know today will be very difficult. Losing a parent is never easy. Especially one as loving and kind as your mother. Just know you have friends praying for you all. Thoughts and prayers are with you today and in the many difficult days to follow.

It is with our deepest sympathy that we have learned of Mrs. Carters' passing. We always looked forward to our meetings at the Post Office when she was home that is where we caught up with each others' family. She was so very proud of all of her family. Chase City has lost a brillant mind & bright ray of light & kindness. Our love & prayers are with you all.
