I am deeply sorry to hear about the passing away of Mr. Parks. I know that the Jehovah, the god of all comfort, will be with you all during this difficult time. I know that words can not replace the pain you feel but I would like to provide an encouraging scripture for you all at this time. Rev. 21:3,4 promises a time when death and pain will be no more and John 5:28,29 speaks of the resurrection hope. I have faith that these scriptures provide you with hope and comfort.

We are saddened beyond words to hear the news about Steve. We have such fond memories of growing up in Chase City and going to Black Branch Baptist Church with Steve.( Our Aunt is Mildred (Paul) Parks.) Our families run deep in the community, so news like this cuts deep. May your memories comfort you during this difficult time. Our prayers are with you.

Steve's Family, I am from Chase City and went to Bluestone High School with Steve and we were very close friends during that time. Every weekend we would ride out to Hugh's BBQ and then over to Clarksville to The Penguin and circle around a few times then back to Chase City. I had a '62 Ford (4 door) and Steve had that Mustang "California Special" and I really liked riding with Steve in his Mustang. I am so sorry to hear of Steve's passing and I will always remember the fun times I had with Steve back in our high school days. With deepest sympathies, Chip Bragg
