Mama & Daddy kissing under a Love Tree in St Augustine FL. Local legend if you kiss under a love tree the couple will be forever sweethearts. Certainly true for mama and daddy.

Buck was a man who made me smile whenever I saw him. He was like my dad in that way, always with a smile and hug and a kind word. There was a gleam in his eye when he spoke of you Lois and you knew of the deep love that the two of you shared. He spoke with kindness and love of his children and grandchildren. My prayers are with you and your family at this time. Know that you both hold a special place in my heart. Love Holly Wilson

Buck was truly a special individual; with an overwhelming amount of love and light that he shared with the world each and everyday. I have only known him for a brief amount of time but in that short amount he made me feel as if I was an old friend, and a long time member of his family. The world is truly a far worse place for having lost Buck Owen. May he smile down on us and share some of his natural light during this time of darkness.

Ms. Lois, I am so saddened to hear this. What a terrible loss of a great man, husband, father, friend and neighbor! He was always a breath of fresh air to see. He was always in a great mood, joking, stealing a hug whatever he could do to make me smile. I will truly miss him as I know the entire community will. May the Lord hold you and your family close , you are in my thoughts and prayers.
