It's very hard to put into words all the emotions that I feel when I think of my friend Sally. We met in 2nd grade and our lives were intertwined through young adult hood. She had a quirky sense of humor that made me laugh and highlighted her down to earth philosophy of life. She didn't always know where her life was headed as a teenager, but no matter......she was going to get there eventually. Sally shared her loving family with me by frequent invitations to their beach house in Golden Beach and we spent long summer days just swimming, fishing and tanning. My biggest regret is that we lost touch for about 45 years and I didn't reconnect with her until 6 months before she passed away. So Sally girl, save me a seat at the table because when I get there we have so much catching up to do!! Love you always my friend - Kathleen McManus
