Wayne and family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Laverne. She was one of the sweetest people you would ever know. She and I were best friends all through high school. Since I never had a sister, I considered Laverne mine. We had so many good times together and even had a double wedding. They were “the good old days.” I will always cherish the wonderful memories and will miss her smiling face. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Inez Averette Patton

im going to miss this sweet lady 🙁 from taking her tomatoes in the summer and sitting and visiting with her and Wayne and talking to her over the fence every time we were outside at the same time about our cats, flowers, gardening and my dogs 🙁 she loved animals and her flowers ❤ i have lived next door to her and her husband Wayne since I was 14 (40 years) they are the best neighbors anyone could every ask for ❤ Sending prayers for Wayne and her family for peace and comfort in this very difficult time. Rest in peace and fly high with the angels LaVerne
