Mrs. Hazel Adams Fitz, age 81, of Drakes Branch, passed away January 19, 2013. She was the widow of James Herbert Fitz, Sr. and a retired employee of Burlington Industries. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Fitz Winter of Richmond, son, James H. Fitz, Sr. (Beverly) of Drakes Branch, sister, Shirley Scott of Drakes Branch, grandchildren, Rhonda Tate, Melissa Fitz, Brian Fitz, Ross Winter, great grandchildren, Shauna Tate, Rachel Tate, Georgiana Fitz, Madison Fitz, Morgan Fitz. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Wylliesburg Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall 1 hour prior to the service.
