Mrs. Georgie N. Wilborn, 75, of Chase City, died April 16, 2013. She was a retired employee of Jonbil and an avid gardener. She was the widow of Lacy Wilborn and is survived by her daughters, Tammy Cardoza and fiancée, Doug Carter of Sandston, Christal Dodd and husband, Marvin of Chase City, half brother, Lawrence Howard Newcomb of Ohio, step children, William Wilborn and wife, Debra of Sandston, Brenda Knight of Glouscester, six grandchildren, Autumn Duffer, April Duffer, Lauren Howerton, Daniel Howerton, Kelly Hare and Kevin Wilborn, five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 Thursday evening at Wood Funeral Service. Funeral services will be private.
