Michael Robert Allard, 67, of Pinehurst, NC and formerly of Lunenburg County, passed away on April 28, 2013 at his residence in Pinehurst. He was born on March 2, 1946 in Selma, Alabama to the late Lawrence and Marjorie Allard. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Denise Allard. He is survived by his loving wife, Christina Marie Allard, four brothers, Larry Allard of Knoxville, TN, Kenny Allard of Rochester, MI, Richard Allard of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and David Allard of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. A memorial service will held Friday 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Chase City, with inurnment to follow in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Michael’s name to Mt. Zion Baptist Church Perpetual Care Fund, 73 Meherrin River Road, Chase City, VA 23924.
