Adolphus “Frog” Murray, Jr., 79, of Saxe, died June 6, 2013. He was a retired employee of Butler Lumber Co., a member of Emmanuel Bible Church and the widower of Myrtle Hatcher Murray and was also preceded in death by a step daughter, Cathy Jordan. He is survived by his sons, Preston Hatcher of Chase City and David Murray of Saxe, grandchildren, Anna Covington, Emily Murray, Ashley Murray, Candice Jordan, Cathy-Leigh Jordan, Brandi Svec, Preston Hatcher, Jr., great grandchildren, Josh Smith, Olivia Smith, Erica Hatcher and Dustin Hatcher. The family will receive friends at the home at all times. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Duffey Cemetery with the Rev. Glenn Blackwell officiating.
