Gene Edward Martin, 74, of Chase City and formerly of Westboro, Ma. died June 16, 2013. He was a retired Blacksmith and is survived by his wife, Maria Martin, sons, David W. Martin of Worcester, Ma., Patrick A. Martin of Westboro, Ma., daughter, Jean Marie Martin, of Brookline, Ma., brothers, Herman Martin of Clarksville, Willie Martin of South Boston, sisters, Betty Price and husband David of Chase City, Susan Thomas and husband Wayne of Clarksville, Frances Robinette of Chase City, Gracie Hazelwood of Victoria, Gail Fisher and husband Stephen of South Boston, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
