William Benjamin “Bennie” Inge, 85, of Clarksville died June 17, 2013. He was a member of Public Fork Christian Church and a retired farmer. He was the widower of Evelyn Jones Inge, and also proceeded in death by his parents, William J. Inge and Lena Newcomb Inge, and a brother, Linwood Alfred Inge. Bennie is survived by his children, Sandra Inge Seate, Dannie Ray Inge, both of Clarksville, Donna Inge Sullivan and husband, John of Boydton, Fran Allgood Little and husband, Andy of Kernersville, NC, brother, Raymond Inge of Red Oak, five grandchildren, Nikkie Little, Jeremy Little, Zachary Sullivan, Nicholas Sullivan, Zackary Williamson, good friend, Nancy Hightower Davis, several nieces and nephews, and his faithful canine companion, Shorty. The family will receive friends 7:00- 8:30pm Wednesday at Wood Funeral Service, Chase City. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at New Hope Baptist Church.
