Mrs. Mildred Q. Petersen, 85, of Chase City, died June 26, 2013. She was the widow of Claude A. Petersen, Sr. and is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Debbie Petersen of Wake Forest, NC, Claude, Jr. and Jane Petersen of Chase City, sisters, Ruby Wilson of Ashland and Libby Keltner of Tappahannock, grandsons, Burch Petersen and wife, Virginia Gray, Damon Petersen and wife, Renee, Tara Petersen, great grandchildren, Haydon, Ethan and Ayra. The family will receive friends at the home of Claude and Jane Petersen at all times. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Clyde Shelton officiating.
