Mrs. Arlene McKinney Wootton, 60, of Chase City, died July 18, 2013. She was co-owner of Wootton Brothers Greenhouse and a member of Black Branch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy and David McKinney and is survived by her husband of forty one years, Roy Thomas Wootton, daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Jeff Jones of Chase City, Sandy and Stacy Herndon of Midlothian, brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Barbara McKinney of Asheville, NC, Howard and Audry McKinney of Hammit, Idaho, sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and John Caknipe of Clarksville, Rachel Caknip of Chase City, Ann and David Shelton of Rustburg, grandchildren, Ethan Jones, Elijah Jones, Arabella Herndon and Liliayna Herndon. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 Saturday evening at Wood Funeral Service. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Black Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Clay officiating.
