Bobbie Steven Ellington, 81, of Skipwith, died September 12, 2013. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and Chase City Ruritan Club and a retired employee of Wachovia Bank. He was the son of the late Hunter and Hazel Ellington and was also predeceased by a brother, Ryland Ellington. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Evelyn Ellington, son, Michael Ellington, sister, Marie Lenhart, both of Skipwith, grandchildren, Robert Ellington of Red Oak, Priscilla Ellington of Burkeville, great grandchildren, Katie Dawn Ellington and Abigail Trinity Gordon. The family will receive friends 7:00-8:30 Saturday evening at Wood Funeral Service. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Reynolds officiating.
