James Franklin Dellinger, Sr., 89, of Chase City, died September 20, 2013. He was a retired employee of Burlington Industries and a member of Black Branch Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Greg Shelton of Oxford, NC, sons and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Jean Dellinger of Boydton, Ronnie Dellinger of Check, Va., six grandchildren, one great granddaughter. The family will receive friends 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Black Branch Baptist Church with services to follow at 3:00 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
