Blair Moss Young, 90, went to be with the Lord on Monday Sept. 30, 2013. She was a native of Skipwith, Virginia and a devoted member of Broad Street United Methodist Church Portsmouth, Virginia. Mrs. Young was formerly employed with the Virginian Railroad, but best known as the treasurer for Woodrow Wilson High School.
Mrs. Young was predeceased by her husband, Harrill Young. She is survived by her two sons, Harrill Lee Young and his wife, Daiga, Victor Brian Young; two granddaughters, Rachel Blair Young, Katelyn Young Stevens and her husband, Lonnie; a sister, Mozelle Moore, and her husband, Rev. George Moore.
A funeral service will be held at 12 noon Friday at Broad Street United Methodist Church, with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends at Loving Funeral Home Portsmouth, VA on Thursday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. They suggest memorial contributions to Broad Street United Methodist Church, Portsmouth, VA
