Marilla Reynolds Bollinger, 79, of Chase City, died December 25, 2013. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, a retired employee with Aileens in Victoria and was preceded in death by her parents, Simon Wheeler Reynolds and Bertie Rice Reynolds. She was the widow of James L. Bollinger and was also preceded in death by her sisters, Edith Hood and Ellen Roark and her brother, Sonny Reynolds. She is survived by her lifelong friend, Jim Jones, sisters, Eunice Adams of Petersburg and Shirley King of Victoria, step daughter, Tammy Carter of Sandston, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Wood Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning with graveside services to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Woodland Cemetery.
