Loy L. “Sonny” Lenhart, 76, of Drakes Branch, died January 18, 2014. He was a retired shop foreman with Estes Express Lines and attended Friendship Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Susie Lenhart, daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Ronnie Edwards of Powhatan, son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne and Suzanne Lenhart of Amelia, 3 grandchildren, Kirt Bond, Joshua Barden and Chase Lenhart, 3 great grandchildren, Madison Bond, Victoria Bond, Lars Bond, and his faithful companion “Shadow”. The family will receive friends 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday at Wood Funeral Service and where services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday. Interment will follow in Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery.
