Carolyn Moorefield Moore, age 44, of Virginia Beach, and formerly of Chase City, passed away Jan. 31, 2014. She was the adopted daughter of Alease P. Moorefield and the late George Moorefield. She is the maternal daughter of Peggy and Gordon Morgan and is also survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Lisa and Ellis Tuck, and Fernanda and Pee Wee Queensberry, and brothers, Robert and Tim Moorefield, and a nephew, Ryan Tuck. Carolyn was preceded in death by her brothers, George, Jr. “Shorty” Moorefield, Jerry Moorefield, and sister, Deborah M. McKinney. Services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Faith Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the home of Peggy and Gordon Morgan at all times. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Wood Funeral Service is serving the family.
