Rudolph B. Kizer, 78, of Richmond, and formerly of Chase City, died February 21, 2014. He was a retired employee of A&P Grocery, and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Shelby Kizer, daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Tim Dalby of Richmond, Diane and Tom Bishop of Cumberland, 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, sister, Carolyn Kreidel and husband, George. The family will receive friends at Wood Funeral Service 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday and where services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday with interment in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
