Bruce V. Mull, 98, of Chase City, entered into eternal rest February 24, 2014. Mr. Mull moved to Chase City at the age of 4 and was raised on the family farm. He served in the Virginia National Guard, Company “E”, prior to WWII, and was a retired instructor with the Department of Justice, Bureau of Prisons, in Morgantown, West Virginia, and High’s Dairy of Washington D.C. He was the widower of Nola P. Mull and was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Mull. He is survived by his son, Robert Mull and wife Maureen, of Upper Marlboro, Md. his daughter, Helen Mull of Chase City, grandchildren, Laura Mull-Clark, and husband Larry, Barbara Mull Sanchez-Meneghini and husband, Pete, Christina Mull-Snavely and husband, Mike, and Nola Robles-Mull, great grandchildren, Justin Anthony Sanchez,Sr., Chelsey Clark, Miranda Clark, Veronica Robles- Mull and Xavier Robles- Mull, and great-great grandchild, Justin Sanchez, Jr. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at Wood Funeral Service with interment in Woodland Cemetery.
