Rita Lynn Jones Holder, 48, of Chase City, died June 11, 2014. She was a sales associate with CVS Pharmacy and was preceded in death by her father, James Jones. She is survived by her husband, Tony Holder, mother, Nannie D. Jones of Red Oak, sons, Paul “Pit” and Cassy Tatum of Saxe, Michael Tatum and fiancée,  Jessica Harsfall of Drakes Branch, Russell James “R.J.” Tatum and fiancée, Tabitha Shorter of Madisonville, daughter, Paula Tatum and fiancée, Ricky “Rooty” Spence of Brodnax, brothers, Johnnie and Debbie Jones, Robert Jones, Jessie and Marilyn Jones, all of Red Oak, Neil Jones and fiancée Wilsey of Phenix, Herbert “Dinkey” and Barbara Jones of Red Oak, sister, Ruth and Bubba Melton of Red Oak, granddaughter, Izzy Tatum of Saxe, a number of nieces and nephews, step children, Jennifer Cooley and husband, Eric, granddaughters, Meghan and Maddison, son, Michael Holder and wife, Blair, grandson, Jackson. Special friends, Bobby and Nellie Campbell of Chase City, long time friend, Janet Wallace of Clover, and Ruth Withrow of Chase City. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 Friday evening at Wood Funeral Service. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev.
