Lucille Newcomb Foster, 97, of Saxe, died October 9, 2014. She was the widow of Stuart McGuire Foster and a long time member of Hebron United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Wendell Hite of South Boston, granddaughter, Wendy Knott and husband, Jay, of Roxboro, grandson, Kendrick Hite and Vickie Bowen of South Boston, great granddaughter, Kelsey Knott. Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Hebron United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Huffman and Rev. Ralph Moore conducting the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service, and at all other times, the home of Betty and Wendell Hite, 1063 Walker Trial, South Boston.
