Rhonda Pruett Hostetter, age 49, of Chase City, passed away December 23, 2014. She was a retired hairdresser, a member of First Baptist Church, and an avid card player. Rhonda was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Pruett, and her father, Joseph T. Pruett.

Surviving are her husband, Joe Hostetter, Jr., son, Bradly Pruett, and wife, Jennifer of Richmond, brothers, Wayne Pruett and wife Cara, of Chase City, Warren Pruett and wife Melanie, of Chesterfield, mother, Joyce Pruett of Chase City, father and mother-in-law, Joe Hostetter, Sr. and wife Catherine of South Hill, sisters-in-law: Laura Moore of Kentucky, Gayle Sandy of Kenbridge, and Tracey Walker of Wilmington, NC., Robin Pruett of Richmond, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 27th, at First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
