Frances Adams Newcomb, 84, of Randolph, died January 5, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Hugh Wylie and Annie B. Adams, a member of New Hope United Methodist Church and a retired employee with Burlington Industries. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Clifton Newcomb, daughters and son-in-law, Gayle and Willard Inge of Saxe, foster daughter, Lucille Wilmoth of Clover, brother, Foster Adams of Drakes Branch, adopted brother, Hugh Adams of Randolph, granddaughter, Cindy Atkinson of Saxe, great  grandchildren, Tina Moore and husband, Jacob of Saxe, Matthew Glasscock of Saxe, great-great grandson, Jeremiah Moore, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Wood Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery.
