Martha Wynn Allgood, age 98, of Boydton, died February 17, 2015. She was a retired employee of Burlington Industries and a member of Christ Chapel Episcopal Church. She was the widow of Larnie Allgood and is survived by her sons, Larnie C. Allgood Jr. and wife, Rachel of Mechanicsville; Charles Monroe Allgood, Sr. and wife, Rebecca of Boydton; daughter Grace Rebecca Allgood of Richmond; grandchildren, Teresa Herndon of King William, Richard Allgood of Mechanicsville, Charles Monroe Allgood, Jr. of Minneapolis, MN; Lisa Allgood Brakefield of Bracey, Jeffrey Allgood of Richmond; nine great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Boydton Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
