William Maynard Gregory, 85, of Chase City, died Monday, March 2, 2015. He was born June 5, 1929 in Boydton, VA to the late William Thomas and Mattie Yancey Gregory. He was  a retired employee of Central Fidelity Bank and later worked at Colgate Square. He was  a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Skipwith and is survived by his wife of 63 years, Doris Rogers Gregory, daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Robbie Foster of Saxe, and beloved granddaughter, Paige Foster, sisters, Edith Gregory Vaughan of Wylliesburg and Elizabeth Gregory Wood of South Hill. He was preceded in death by a brother, Rev. Howard F. Gregory. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Liberty Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Baptist Church, 1260 Wilkerson Rd., Skipwith, VA 23968.
