Ronald Lee Clary, Sr., 78,  of Chase City, died Saturday, March 14, 2015, in his home. Mr. Clary was born in LaCrosse, on May 21, 1936, to the late William Fedd Clary (Bill) and Lettie Thomas Clary.  He retired as a supervisor with Flowers Bread Co. and then was a self-employed general contractor.

Mr. Clary was predeceased by his wife Carolyn Creedle Clary.  Surviving children are Ronald Lee Clary, Jr. of Chase City; Thomas Ozlin Clary and wife Rhonda of Troutville; Donald Wayne Clary, MD, and wife Marie of Dublin; Kenneth Eugene Clary and Amanda Matthews of Savannah, GA; and Carole Clary Griffin and husband Koy of Nelson;  grandchildren  Michael Alan Clary of Washington DC; Jason Thomas Clary of Troutville; Clayton Hollins Clary of Hillsville; Jaime Barnes Graham, Robert Michael Barnes, Carolyn Elena Clary, and Donald Jacob Clary, all of Dublin; Kathryn Rose Griffin and Olivia Page Griffin, both of Nelson; and Richard Jace Clary of Savannah, GA.  Surviving great-grandchildren are Kaitlyn Marie Graham and Jonathan Blake Graham of Dublin; Caleb Ian Clary of Hillsville.  Surviving siblings are Finley Gayle Clary, Sr. of LaCrosse, Ann Hightower of Chase City and Hazel Pearce of LaCrosse.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his siblings Mildred Mills, Bessie Mills, Sarah Pearce, and William Clary.

 Family will receive friends at Wood Funeral Service, Sunday, March 15, from 4-6 pm. A graveside service will be held Monday, March 16, 3pm, at LaCrosse Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chase City Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 81, Chase City, VA 23924, or to Boydton Life Station, P O Box 182, Boydton Va. 23917.
