David Michael Seamster, 61, of Chase City, died October 2, 2015. He was a member of Church of God of Prophecy and a carpenter with Phil Clark Construction. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Seamster, step children, Judy Songer, Thomas Lewis, Bobby Lewis, Jackie Lewis (Joy), brother, Wayne Seamster and wife, Brenda, Larry Seamster and wife, Kathy, Kenneth Seamster and wife, Linda, Mark Seamster, sister, Debbie Doss and husband, Dave, nine step grandchildren, special sister-in-law, Mary Newcomb. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3-5:00 pm at Wood Funeral Service. Services will be held 3:00 Monday at Wood Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Public Fork Christian Church Cemetery. Contributions may be made to The Mecklenburg County Cancer Association, 559 Wightman Rd.
