Isabelle Woodson Cabaniss, 94, of Chase City, passed away December 23, 2015. She was the widow of James H. Cabaniss and preceded in death by her two brothers and seven sisters. She was a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, retired employee of Lake Sleepwear. She is  survived by her  daughters and son-in-law, Vickie Currin; Kathy and Luke Matthews; four grandchildren, Lisa Thompson; Chris Currin; Scott Currin; Sean and Ayme Currin; a great-grandchild, Zane Currin; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at  Wood Funeral Chapel on Sunday  at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Mac Bugg will be officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Mecklenburg County Cancer Association P.O. Box 311 Chase City, Va. 23924.
