Joyce Gentry Hamblen, 62, of Chase City, passed away July 14, 2017. She was a retired employee of Boswell Bookkeeping. Joyce is survived by her husband of 47 years, Bill Hamblen, son, Dean Hamblen and wife Meagan, daughter, Kristy Waldron and husband “Sport”, brother, Raymond Gentry and wife Lilly, sisters, Alice Rutledge and husband Kenny, Sheena Eastridge and husband Paul, and a grandson, Charlie Dean Hamblen. Services will be held 11:00 a. m. Saturday, July 22, 2017,  at Wood Funeral Chapel. Interment will be private.
