Kyler Cristian Lopez, 15, of Skipwith, Virginia, passed away November 17, 2017. Kyler was a sophomore at Bluestone High School. His passion for soccer began in 5^th grade and he later became a member of the Bluestone Middle and High School soccer teams. He enjoyed playing travel soccer for Mecklenburg United and Danville Blast.   Kyler was kind, funny, bold, and respectful and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Kyler is survived by his father, Gregorio, his mother, Donna , his brother, Nicolas Wayne and girlfriend, Anna Pasciuta, and his maternal grandparents, Wayne and Mary Alice Maitland. He is also survived by his aunts, Wanda Maitland and family, Maria Lopez and family, Carmen Lopez and family, Josefina Lopez and family, and Rosalia Lopez and family. In addition, he is survived by his uncles Sergio Lopez and family, Eugenio Lopez and family, and Rufino Lopez and family. He leaves behind numerous extended family members and amazing friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Kyler Cristian’s life will be held 6:00 PM Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Robert E. Lee building in Chase City, Virginia. Memorial contributions may be made at Benchmark Community Bank. Wood Funeral Service is serving the family.
