Pauline Thompson Collie age 96, of Chase City, passed away March 30, 2018. She was the widow of William C. Collie and also preceded by her daughter, Joan Daniels, and son-in-law, Brett Daniels. Pauline was a retired employee of Joy Rags, and a longtime member and deacon of First Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Mary Ann St. John and husband, David, of Lynchburg, son, William ” Bill”, ” Puddin”  Collie,  and friend, Linda Cooley of Clarksville, grandchildren, Jeff St. John, Tina Brightwell, Christie Van Pelt, and Courtney Putzman, great grandchildren, Brandi St. John, Alden St. John, Molly Brightwell, Alex Van Pelt, and Evan Putzman. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 noon Tuesday at First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Chase City Nursing and Rehabilitation for the exceptional care extended to Mrs. Collie.  Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, 206 E.
