James Garland “Jim” Jones, 84, of Skipwith, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019.  Jim was a US Army Veteran, a member of the American Legion Post 43, a retired farmer, and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He is survived by his son, Mark Jones, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 9, at New Hope Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
