Rev. Larry S. Propst, age 73, of Chase City, passed away April 11, 2020. He was a retired taxidermist of 40 years, an avid hunter, a U. S. Army veteran, and pastor of Jeffress Baptist Church for the past 14 years. Surviving are his wife, Mary Propst; children, Linda Smith ( Mike Sadler), Lisa Meade, Jenna Smith (Chris), Danny Camp, and Dean Camp; 9 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
