Elizabeth “Carol” Rickman, age 75, of Charlotte County went to be with the Lord on August 9, 2020. Carol was born on July 14, 1945 and was well known for her cooking. She resided in Charlotte County her entire life and retired from Wylliesburg Tastee Freeze. Carol will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Duckworth (Stanley), granddaughter, Carolyn Hoyle (Chip), great grandsons, Zane and Eli Hoyle, all of Chase City, sister, June Lacks (Monroe) of Randolph, and various nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her beloved dogs Millie and Mingo. A graveside service will be held at Hebron United Methodist Church in Saxe on Wednesday, August 12 at 11:00 AM.  Wood Funeral Service, Chase City is serving the family.
