Garland E. Harmon, age 88, of Rock Hill South Carolina, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 12, 2020. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a retired painting contractor for over 40 years. Garland was a committed Christian and Deacon of Ultimate Life Church, of Fort Mill SC. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working outdoors. Garland loved his family well. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Jeanette Harmon; sons, Pastor Barry Harmon and wife, Judy; Dana Harmon and wife, Lisa; brother, James Harmon and wife, Pat; grandchildren, Elizabeth Geisen and husband, Paul, Nathan Harmon and wife, Rachel, Sarah Harmon Lathrop, Ben Harmon, Jonathan Harmon, Elijah Harmon, Jenna Harmon, and 9 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday at Public Fork Christian Church Cemetery. Wood Funeral Service, Chase City is serving the family.
