Mary Ellen Keeton, age 77, of Chase City passed away October 3, 2021. She was a pharmacist for over 40 years and a devoted member of Centenary United Methodist Church. Mary Ellen and Jimmy created many family memories in Cape Hatteras fishing, camping, and hunting for shells. She was the daughter of the late Julian Wyatt Garrett, Jr. and Louise Land Garrett. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Jimmy Keeton, Who passed away July 9, 2021. Surviving are her children, Scotty Keeton and wife Ashley, Darrell Keeton and wife, Chanel, LeAnne Mull and husband B.J.; grandchildren, Cilla, Caroline, Kaleb, Hunter, Kierstin, Riley and McKenna; brother Wyatt Garrett; and devoted caregivers, Samantha Smith, Brynn Duffie, April Williams, Theresa White, and Michelle White. The family wishes to thank CMH Hospice for their care. Family will receive friends at the home of BJ and LeAnne at 931 Grove Ave. Services will be held 2 P.M. Sunday at Woodland Cemetery with Rev.
