William Leroy Flynn, Jr., 76 passed away on October 22, 2021, after a long battle with cancer.
Leroy was a retired welder with American Builders in LaCrosse, Virginia.
Leroy was born on August 13, 1945 to the late William Leroy Flynn, Sr. and the late Eleanor
Campbell Flynn of Boydton, Virginia.
Leroy served his country in the United States Marine Corps and fought in the Vietnam War. He
was a graduate of Bluestone High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with
his family.
He is survived by his five children, Angela Flynn Tuck of Chase City, Virginia, Jennifer Flynn and
Wendy Flynn of Boydton, Virginia, William Leroy Flynn, III (Whitney) of Wylliesburg, Virginia,
and Caleb Flynn (Cari Green) of Chase City as well as many nieces and nephews. Grandchildren,
Cody Tuck, Tyler, Dusten, and Damien Morris, Lily Flynn, Dylan and Autumn Flynn. Sisters Barbara
Flynn Ricketson and Patricia Flynn Gregory (J.R. Price), and brother Jerry Flynn (Carolyn). Burial will be private.
