James F. Dellinger, Jr. age 72 of Boydton, passed away April 30, 2022. He was born in Granville County North Carolina on March 18,1950 to the late James and Esther Dellinger. Jimmy was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle. He was a retired employee of Mecklenburg County Schools and a “jack of all trades.” Surviving is his wife, Jean Dellinger; daughter, Ashley Dellinger; sister, Betty Shelton and husband, Greg; brother, Ronald Dellinger; 4 nephews, 1 niece, 3 great nephews, and 1 great niece. Graveside services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday at The Thompson Family Cemetery, 1961 Daniels Rd, Boydton, Va. The family will receive friends at Wood Funeral Service from 6:30- 8:00 pm Monday.
