Harvey Alvin Hoyle, Sr. passed away August 16, 2022. He was a retired Chase City Police Department Sergeant; he served the community of Chase City from 1997-2015. Harvey was a Central Virginia Criminal Justice Academy class #46 graduate. In retirement he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his two grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Zane D. Hoyle & Edith B. Hoyle, and sister, Linda H. Burton. Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Mary Hoyle; son, Harvey “Chip” Hoyle, Jr. (Carolyn); grandsons., Zane Hoyle & Eli Hoyle; brother-in-law, Doug Burton; nephews, Kris Burton & Brian Burton.
