Dallas Keith Weston, age 64 of Chase City, passed away Aug 17, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Weston, and a brother, Butch Weston. He was a 16 year survivor of a double lung transplant and a strong supporter of organ donation. Dallas worked as a reporter for The News Progress and The Mecklenburg Sun and writer of his weekly column “Animal Tracks”.
He was a gifted guitarist and played with numerous bands including Auda Creek and was an avid animal lover!
He is survived by his wife Cheryl and a host of family and friends
Services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Wood Funeral Chapel.
