David Saunders Smith, age 57, of Skipwith passed away April 19, 2023. David was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was a carpenter. He was the son of the late Jimmie & Betty Smith. Surviving are his brother, Kenneth Smith (Donna); nephews, Kris Smith (Taylor), Robbie Compton (Nicole), Kevin Compton; nieces, Katie Wallace (Richard), Kara Jo Smith; and several great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
