Sally Neale Valentino ,68, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2023 at her home in Chase City, Va.
Sally was born on July 6,1955 to Betty Neale and the late George Robert Sellner.
Sally previously owned Washington National Cemetery in Suitland, MD but went on to follow her passion and talent of tole painting. She became a certified Folk Art Instructor and opened two art studios. Sally also loved to garden. She served as president of Mary Wood Garden Club and was a supporter of MacCallum More Gardens.
Sally is survived by her loving and devoted husband Francis (Rudy) Valentino, sons Joseph Gajewski and Timothy Gajewski, stepdaughter Paulette Valentino and grandchildren Lucas, Joey, Kayleigh, Renee, Ryder, Mason and Maddy. She is also survived by her sisters Susan Black and Sara Western. She is preceded in death by her brother, George Robert (Robbie) Sellner, Jr.
Sally was a beautiful, kind, and thoughtful person who will be dearly missed by her husband, family, and friends.
Services will be held at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia at a later date.
