Bernard Francis “Billy” Adams entered his eternal home on March14, 2024 at the age of 94. Born on Easter Sunday, March 31, 1929, in Charlotte County, Va. He was the son of the late Luther A. Adams and Pattie R. Adams. Billy was married to Charlotte Foster Adams for 56 years. He was a life-long member of Lebanon Church in Drakes Branch and was employed by Burlington Industries and West Point Stevens for 40 years. Once retired, he was employed as a part time funeral assistant for 21 years while also enjoying his favorite hobbies of hunting and fishing.

Billy is survived by his son, B. Wayne Adams, of Raleigh, NC, sisters-in-law, Nancy Adams of Saxe, and Mary Adams of Drakes Branch, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte and seven siblings, Buck, Harvey, Raymond, Jiggs, Clint, Lucille, and Kathryn.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Lebanon Church, 11135 Craftons Gate Highway, Drakes Branch, Va 23937 with Pastor Scott Dyer officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
